The IL Metro East Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SIUE, in partnership with The Greater Belleville Chamber and Southwestern Illinois College, will present on May 2nd a unique learning opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and future business owners.
The SBDC's informative "Starting a Business in Illinois" workshop will be held in the Greater Belleville area and will instruct attendees on how to
- develop a viable business plan;
- properly register business with state and/or local agencies; and
- explore business financing options.
In addition, attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions about a specific business idea and any next steps in their startup process. This course is highly recommended for anyone developing a new for-profit business concept.
