Job Summary: Are you a people person that has Sales Manager experience looking to take the next step in your career?  Our client in St. Clair County is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.  Duties include:

  • Manage a sales support unit including monitoring key performance metrics to ensure the desired level of service is being provided
  • Contact key marketing organization relationships to determine if any added assistance is needed
  • Determines if agent is licensed and appointed with designated insurance carriers and assists as necessary during the contracting process
  • Provides sales and product ideas, as necessary, during the client sales process
  • Submit agent hierarchy changes and update systems as necessary
  • Assist agent with any issue in either the agent recruiting or sales process
  • Experience in building effective client minded sales strategies which positively impact the business line

Location: St. Clair County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: Up to $60,000/yr, BOE

Qualifications:

  • Life Insurance license with 7+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of life insurance & annuity products, assets under management, and sales
  • 5+ years leading/coaching/managing high performing financial services sales teams
  • Proven track record of improving performance in others
  • Communicates strategic business plans and tactical sales goals clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years sales support or similar management experience
  • Superior interpersonal skills in both a verbal and written manner
  • Ability to translate product information into a compelling sales proposition
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize projects
  • A customer service mindset, team player and ability to work with professionals at all levels
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant supervision
