Job Description
Driven to provide memorable experiences, the Event & Wedding Coordinator position requires
an organized and personable individual. This role reports to the Operations Manager and works
collaboratively with The Weingarten management staff to capture event bookings, event
planning and day-of coordination. Strong communication skills required. Must be able to work
evenings and weekends throughout the year (40-50 hours/week depending on the time of
season). Training available for the right candidate.

● Oversee the full life cycle of a private event or wedding booking:
○ Receive inquiries
○ Schedule and provide tours
○ Create accurate invoices
○ Track payments
○ Conduct final meetings
○ Work as day-of coordinator at time of event
● Serves as point of contact to clients to finalize contracts, provide/schedule tours, answer
questions and make changes in accordance to The Weingarten policies
● Be knowledgeable about pricing and policies (for employees and guests) of
The Weingarten
● Lead event staff and event bartenders prior to, during and after events
● Act as an ambassador attending bridal expos and events outside The Weingarten to
promote the venue
● Maintain a professional attitude at all times
● Complete all ordering with outside vendors and communicate details of event to internal
departments when needed
● Manage priorities under short deadlines
● Attend and participate in staff meetings/training

● Experience in the Customer Service or Restaurant Industry
● BASSET or Food Handlers Certification

● Interest in Social Media Marketing
● Operate a Square POS
● Operate Light Duty Machinery (e.g. Golf Cart, Beer Taps, P.A. System)
