Job Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois provides mentors for youth in St. Clair, Madison, Clinton and Monroe counties. Our vision is that all children succeed.
The Community Mentoring Coordinator‘s responsibilities include child, parent and volunteer interviews with thoroughly written assessments; creating one-to-one relationships with mentees and mentors;  relationship support to ensure child safety and to create positive impacts for children and enduring relationships. High degree of independent judgement and efficient time management required. Ability to work with a diverse population and strong problem solving skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related area with a minimum of one year of experience required. Some travel in counties served. Send resume to barbarac@bbbsil.org.
