There is less than six weeks until school is back in full swing for our kiddos in the Metro East, and that means it is school supply time!![✏️]() ![📓]() ![🎒]() ![📚]() ![🍎]()
We are gearing up for our annual Back to School Bash, where we help Littles and their families prepare for a successful return to school. Each child receives a new backpack filled with school supplies, hygiene items, socks and other goodies! Excitement is high as Littles choose their perfect backpack at the BBBS office! ![💚]()

This years' event is coming up on August 5th and we need your help! The need is BIG. We had 95 kids signed up for the event and we anticipate that number will rise this year!
With the rising cost of every day items like groceries, rent and gas, this is the perfect way for the community to help out our families in need.
Help us fill the backpacks! Donate today and we will do the shopping OR go on a shopping spree and drop supplies off at our office. Your donations will ensure that our kiddos are ready for the new school year! With your support, you will be directly supporting youth in the Metro East! | Spiral Notebooks, Dry Erase Markers, Pencils Sharpeners, Assorted Color Highlighters, Blank Index Cards, Pencil Cases, Blue Ball Point Pens, Black Pens, Red Pens, Mechanical Pencils, Two Pocket Folders, and 5" Pointed Safety Scissors are ideas of what is needed most! Kleenex, Wipes, Rulers, Post It Notes, Liquid Glue Bottles, Eraser Toppers, Big Erasers, Pencils, Binders, Glue Sticks, Loose Leaf Paper, Washable Markers, Colored Pencils, Deodorant are additional ideas. These are the supplies that we include in our backpacks! The ones in bold are what is needed most. Our office is open weekly Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30a-4:00p. Or give us a call at 618-398-3162 to schedule a day and time that works for you to drop off your items. We appreciate your help and we know our kids and families do too!
