Festival of Trees Gala
Date:
December 5, 2018
Time:
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST
Event Description:
Joyously celebrate the holidays by joining us at the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Trees held at the Collinsville Gateway Center. The 40,000 square foot event space transforms into a holiday winter wonderland with beautifully decorated live trees, gorgeous wreaths, and unique home décor. These extraordinary masterpieces are sold by silent auction with the grand prize tree being sold by a raffle. Guests enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and live entertainment by the Diamond Empire Band.
This year’s recipient is The Collinsville Junior Service Club: A philanthropic organization providing women an opportunity to make a difference in this community by enriching the lives of others. The Club plans social events and organizes fundraisers so that members of the community can gather together and have fun raising money to directly support those in need. One of our most fulfilling projects allows us to provide food baskets, clothes, and toys to approximately 50 needy children and families in the Collinsville Unit #10 School District at Christmas. The Club also provides college scholarships to young ladies in need as well as providing support to various clubs and organizations at the local schools and in our community.
