  • About

The Cancer Treatment Center, an outpatient facility locally owned and operated by Memorial and St. Elizabeth's hospitals.
Since 1986, more than 12,000 patients have depended on the Memorial and St. Elizabeth's Cancer Treatment Center in Swansea for their cancer treatment. We are one of the largest cancer centers in the St. Louis metropolitan area and we are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). In addition, our PET/CT imaging centers in southern Illinois are certified by the ACR. Also, we serve as an education training site for students of medical physics, radiation therapy, dosimetry and dietetics.

Technology distinguishes us as a leader in cancer treatment. Our trueBeam "SUPER" accelerator, appropriately named HOPE, is a testament to our mission. This radiotherapy system is designed to dramatically improve the treatment of cancer. HOPE uses the latest advancements in tumor-destroying radiation to treat cancers throughout the body as it minimized exposure to surrounding healthy tissues. Once only available in larger "Top Ten" cancer centers around the country, Memorial and St. Elizabeth's Hospitals have invested millions of dollars in YOUR cancer center to provide HOPE to our community.

The Memorial and St. Elizabeth's Cancer Treatment Center provides a variety of supportive services at no additional cost during treatment. These services include Nutritional Counseling, Massage Therapy, Wellness Programs, and Emotional Support.

    Cancer care focused on you.
